On the 16th of January 2023 BLLAHWU held a joint capacity building & retreat for C.E.C and Management to enhance leadership, teamwork, organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
Amongst subjects covered were “Effective leadership & good governance” , “BLLAHWU policy framework & governance tools” , “State of industrial relations in Botswana” ,”Basic principles of company law -context for Mokaulengwe Investments” , “The transformation path of BLLAHWU & suggested way forward “.
The session was also preparation for development of the new strategic plan & thorough implementation of 2023 programme of action. The forum resolved to intensify membership recruitment drive for pronounced growth of BLLAHWU, diversification of BLLAHWU products for members to improve their lives , expand BLLAHWU space in international arena, produce position papers on issues affecting society, and most importantly for BLLAHWU to always remain relevant and responsive to the plight of members as their fortress.
